We're happy to report that D.light sales are growing at an increasing rate all around the world! We are entering new markets, as well as deepening our reach in countries already selling D.light products. Congratulations are in order for our Business Development, Sales and Marketing teams around the world for all their hard work! Recognition also should go to our product engineering and management teams who are overseeing our increase in manufacturing without compromising quality.

January 2010 marked the highest single month of sales in company history, and we expect this to continue growing. In the very near future, we will be hitting a major sales milestone, so stay tuned for more!

One of the best things about the work of D.light is that it doesn't take a lot of resources or huge numbers of people to make a big impact.

Jane and Steve Fletcher, members of the Del Mar Rotary Club in California, used a grant of $3600 to purchase and distribute 100 D.light Novas in the village of Vuaki in Fiji. Having traveled there to personally deliver the solar lights to the families, Jane reported an immediate effect: "A lot of the women were really excited because their kids got all stoked on being able to use it for their homework."

As a next step, the Fletcher's plan to purchase additional lights for Vuaki's community center. We are grateful for invaluable friends and partners like the Fletcher's who are helping us reach even the most remote villages in the world!
